Shibumi means effortless perfection and is the name of Sayan Isaksson’s acclaimed izakaya, which first opened in 2015. After ten years and a popular pop-up at Röda Huset, Shibumi is now returning to Malmskillnadsgatan 38B. The doors will open on November 12th.

“When we opened Shibumi in 2015, we were essentially the first to introduce the izakaya genre in Stockholm. A lot has happened in ten years, but my love for this kind of generous and inclusive cooking remains the same. The new Shibumi includes some of the classics but also new dishes to explore.”
